Health
Immediately after harvest, all fish are carefully treated to remove any skin parasites that may be present. This ensures that there will not be any parasites to develop on your fish or contaminate your system. Coarse fish are available with genuine health certificates for 'section 30' consents.

Numbers
Each fish is counted by hand to ensure accuracy. We guarantee our numbers and add at least 1-2% spare as a further safeguard to the customer.

Growth rates
Fish produced for the restocking market are bred from broodstock with a known record of rapid growth. Mirrors strains include Redmires, Sutton at Hone, and the traditional Dinks. Riverine species such as chub and barbel have been bred from the largest and fastest growing specimens from the famous River Kennet.

Vigour
All fish are harvested as required and are usually dispatched to customers within 2 or 3 days of harvest from their growing ponds. They will arrive fat and lively even in the early spring. There is NO cooling, anaesthetising, long term starving, or long distance transportation. The resultant stock arrives healthy, and virtually stress free.
